We have a highly skilled team of stylists dedicated to delivering flawless work, the very latest styles and unrivalled customer services. Meet the team
Mandy, Salon Owner
Alternative Styles is run by an experienced hairstylist Mandy. Mandy qualified as a hairdresser in 1985 and has gone on to win a variety of styling awards, both local and national, over the course of her career. Mandy is constantly updating her skills and styling techniques and you can rest assured you’re in safe hands with her as your stylist.
Amanda, Manager & Stylist
Amanda is our Manager at Alternative Styles Salon as well as a hugely popular stylist with our guests. She loves hair cutting and styling, and she creates ‘colour-magic’ with hair! Amanda also holds qualifications as a fine-art artist. She now getting creative with our salon professional make-up to add the finishing touches to your party style. Amanda is also one of our Balbcare specialists.
Vicki, Designer stylist
Hair is Vicki’s world! With 9 years experience in the industry of hairdressing, she has grown to become one of our my sought after stylists. Vicki is up to date with the latest trends, styles & colours before they hit the catwalk keeping her guests looking current and fresh 365 days a year.
Jaz, future stylist and our Paul Mitchell Deluxe hair spa specialist
Jaz is our future stylist who already specialises in the Paul Mitchell deluxe spa hair treatments and massage techniques. Jaz is on hand most days to advise you on the treatments available and recommend options for you during your consultation with your stylist. Jaz is also available for party hair-ups & festival hair!
Laura, Salon Assistant
Qualified at level 2 woman’s hairdressing five years ago, followed by the opportunity to work at a salon in Italy as part of the Davincci training Programme, as a busy Naval wife, she struggled to progress my skills further, something she is now able to focus on and eager to expand my knowledge and skills, and we are looking forward to seeing what the future brings for her at Alternative styles!
Chloe, Salon Assistant
I work at Alternative Styles on Saturdays. I am still at school and want to learn all about hair! I hope to leave school and take up an apprenticeship to become a stylist. Watch this space! Chloe x
